Joseph Lisowski writes

TEN LINES FOR TIME

Wagon wheel spokes   desert dusk
Moon craters through a telescope
Clouds an afterthought
Crickets trill   Indian summer
Clicking of leaves.

Rain rhythms   tropical songs
Drum beats   a penitentiary
Candle wicks spitting
Creaks of a dark confessional
The whispering of sins.

In The Confessional -- Giuseppe Maria Crespi
